Attractions Aberdour Castle and Gardens, Aberdour. Tel: 01383 860519. The castle is located in the village of Aberdour, near the railway station. Over a 500 year period, the building was added to, to suit the needs of the owners of the day. An L-shaped extension was added in the 1630's, that today is the only complete part of the building, housing the gallery on the upper floor and the tea shop and stable on the ground floor. Location: In the centre of Aberdour.

Attractions Inchcolm Abbey, the island of Inchcolm KY3 0UA. Tel 01383 823332. A medieval abbey located at the centre of the island, in the Firth of Forth. It was founded by King Alexander I of Scotland (1107-24), he was washed ashore there after a shipwreck in 1123, and took shelter in a hermit's hovel. Inchcolm Abbey has the most complete surviving remains of any Scottish monastic house. The ruins are cared for by Historic Scotland. About 3 miles south of Aberdour.

Attractions St Bridget’s Kirk, Dalgety. The ivy-clad ruins of the 12th century medieval church are all that remain to mark the site of the original village of Dalgetty. The ruins are maintained by Historic Scotland and some interesting features include access to the loft. About 2 miles southwest of Aberdour.
