Central England is a vast region with the Welsh border to the west
and the lower reaches of the Pennines to the north. It is an
area bordering the M4 to the south with the A1, Lincolnshire
and East Anglia to the east. In the centre is Birmingham and
the Black Country, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
Across the region is a great diversity
of landscape, with pastoral rolling countryside, quaint villages,
ancient towns, bustling cities and gentle hills. Travel in Central
England is relatively simple, Birmingham sits at the centre
of Britain's rail and coach networks and visitors are never far
away from the excellent motorway system of the M1, M6, M4, M5
M42, M45.
