Fakenham racecourseFakenham is in Norfolk, a low-lying county in East Anglia with Lincolnshire to the west, Cambridgeshire to the west and southwest, and Suffolk to the south. The coast of north Norfolk is a dramatic stretch of saltmarshes, vast sandy beaches and pretty coastal villages. The Norfolk Broads are a popular holiday area situated in the triangle of Norwich, Lowestoft and Sea Palling, where 30 "broads" provide miles of navigable waterways. Norwich is a city steeped in history with a wealth of museums, medieval churches, a cathedral and castle, and of course, excellent shopping! photo left: Fakenham racecourse.
