Garstang is situated on the River Wyre in Lancashire, a place of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the scenic Forest of Bowland. In the centre of Garstang is the Ancient Market Cross which was restored in 1897. The town has a number of ‘Weinds’ (narrow alleyways) leading off the High Street.
