Virginia Water London Virginia Water is about 26 miles from Charing Cross, Westminster, generally accepted as the place for measuring the distance to and from London. Virginia Water is located at the south end of Windsor Great Park, near Ascot. The Water is a large lake, around which there is a pleasant walk. Along the way you will come across many curiosities, including a 100 foot totem pole, an artificial waterfall, an obelisk raised by George II, and part of a ruined city imported from North Africa. Many of the houses Virginia Water are large detached homes situated on the private Wentworth Estate close to the famous Wentworth Golf Club. Wentworth is also home to the headquarters of the PGA European Tour.

The 2006 redevelopment has meant that the new Grandstand and the state-of-the-art facilities are second to none. Located close to the M3, M4, M40 & M25 motorways and to London Heathrow for international visitors. About 4 miles west of Virginia Water.

Wentworth's West course is the most televised course in the UK, hosting three professional tournaments every year. Wentworth Club is in Virginia Water, near Ascot, just off the A30.
