The Cotswolds run for 50 miles from Dyrham
to Chipping Campden. The Cotswolds are mainly in Gloucestershire
but also part of north Oxfordshire. The Chilterns are a range
of low-lying chalk hills running in a wide arc to the northwest
of London from Goring-on-Thames to Hitchin. The Chilterns are
mainly in the counties of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire,
and offer the visitor plenty of unspoilt countryside, much of
which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
