Lincolnshire is a county
of country market towns, many dating back hundreds of years,
and the rolling Lincolnshire Wolds. It is a area of imposing
medieval churches, castles, appealing villages and popular coastline.
Skegness is a traditional family seaside resort while Gibraltar
Point, Saltfleetby, Crook Bank, Moggs Eye are off the beaten
track and are a haven for nature lovers, birdwatchers and conservationists.
Lincoln itself is the region's outstanding attraction, the cathedral
is the third largest church in England. Lincolnshire was one
of the last areas in the country to rely on wind power in its
mills. Today, the remains of more than 130 windmills can be found
dotted around the county, with a large number surviving intact
and open to the public. Please go here
