Snowdonia is one of the oldest and largest of Britain's
National Parks, home to Wales' highest mountain Snowdon
at 3,560 ft (1,085 m). This beautiful area of soaring cliff faces,
jagged peaks and plunging waterfalls is ideal for walking and
mountaineering enthusiasts. To the west is the Llyn peninsula
with some fine sandy beaches. The ancient landscape of Anglesey
is surrounded by rugged sea cliffs providing excellent sites
for bird-watching and rock-climbing. Llandudno and Colwyn Bay
are charming, traditional seaside resorts in North Wales,
while along the coast stand the splendid castles of Caernarfon,
Conwy, Harlech, Beaumaris and Criccieth. Please
go here for bed
and breakfast in North Wales & North
Wales hotels. Travelling down to South
